Halftime update - Lakers @ Jazz - Down 60-45 - 20 March 2008

That first quarter may be too much to overcome.  Too many missed layups.  Korver is off.  Memo is still sick (he is 3-5 though).  The Jazz are down only 15 at the half.  It could have been much, much more.

The Lakers are shooting an unacceptable 60% from the field.  It goes without saying that there’s no way the Jazz can come back if they keep letting LA shoot like that.  They’re going to have to hold them to a couple of 20 point quarters in the second half to have a shot.

I don’t know why it took a whole quarter for them to settle down.  Seems to be that national game curse the Jazz enjoy.

The way this game is going we SHOULD be down 20+. Apparently Kyle thought he got the week offf cause of his Bday. Wrong! This is a weird game cause they aren’t playing ‘normal’. I just don’t get it.

I have now decided that they deserve to loose.

I bet if you look at the Jazz record with 2+ days rest, it isn’t good. I turned the game off at the start of the 4th when Booz missed that 1st FT.

OH MY GOSH!! I almost wish it was just a complete blow-out, because they keep pulling close and then letting it get away again.
