Andrei Kirilenko - Cold-blooded Russian
Here’s my latest on HoopsVibe:
What a difference a New Year’s makes. After beating the Trailblazers on December 31st, the Jazz decided to loosen up a bit and start winning again.
There are a lot of things that have changed since then. First, it seems as though Memo is finally healthy. Second, we were able to steal Korver from the Sixers. The Jazz have gone 10-2 since that trade. But today I’d like to sing the praises of Andrei Kirilenko.

I thoroughly enjoyed that win over the Spurs tonight. Great performances all the way around, and few things put a hop in my step like watching Timmay and Pop sulk and complain on their way to a loss.
Things got a bit chippy in there, and at one point I thought Ime Udoka was going to go all Nigeria vs Algeria in the 2005 FIBA Africa tournament on somebody. (scroll to the end of the following link for the story).

I’m getting the recap posted as we speak. I blame the chippiness on the refs. They weren’t calling anything all night (much like the Houston game). They couldn’t control jack. And that’s when you run into trouble.
That’s an awesome story. I think you could apply his description to most church ball games.
