All things Utah Jazz - 2006-2007 Northwest Division Champs

Your New Year’s eve was completely different

image Had to get something up on the quick. Reason number #2,425 why your life is nothing like that of a professional athlete. And thanks to My Utah Jazz for the links.

December 31st. The night started out with a great win over Portland. And as we can see, the Jazz wives were getting ready to celebrate not only the win, but the New Year. After the win, it was time for the party to start at Kirilenko’s. All of the players were there. They got in some good hazing on Fess.

And then, it looks like the Vodka kicked in because things went crazy from there.

Did AK decided to use his free pass already for the year?

Apparently the girl pictured is an assistant for the Kirilenkos. She’s in all the pictures and seems to be having a good time with everyone.

I think a lot of Jazz fans would have rather won a trip to this party than the contest to go the Denver game next month.

Any chance we’ll be seeing these photos in next year’s media guide? And it’s a good thing that Dee isn’t around to be a bad influence on Deron.

That was…..interesting. Who’s wives are who? It’s all in Russian. Amy Williams looks like the most normal out of the bunch.

Your boy Korver was there and was conspicuously without a date.

If you put the URL’s in google translate, google.com/translate, you can get a rough idea of what was going on. I believe the tall lady in the purple is Memo’s wife and one of them in Harpings wife. Not sure on the others.

I think that Korver is in need of friends. And he also needs to start hitting those 3’s.

  4. TC Says:

Is Korver alone? The translation of the page said “groom eminent Korver”-presumably meaning groom imminent-i.e. in the not-too-distant future…and the girl’s arm is linked with Korver, not the other dude (sorry, don’t know his name). An honest question…

It kind of looks like it. He’s only been here a couple weeks. I doubt he’s got anyone serious yet. Looks like they just dragged him along after the game.

I have to say that I got sick of Bolerjack’s triteness in his first month of broadcasting with the Jazz. I can’t decide which is worse: drunk Hot Rod or “Buckle Up” Bolerjack. I look forward to the games that Steve Brown does, not because I like Steve, but because I can’t stand the Boler. Don’t get me wrong; I think Buckle Up is one of CBS’ best college football guys, but we only have to listen to him once a week at best when he does CBS games. Good call on the “Money” and “double-double”.
