Dee Brown celebrates Thanksgiving a little early this year

image When Dee said a few days ago that he would be out in Utah to “handle a little business,” I figured something was up. It looks like the One Man Fast Break will be heading to Turkey to play this year. I guess we should have seen it coming. He’s playing golf this weekend at Thanksgiving Point? Turkey? Should have seen it coming.

He didn’t mention the team he would be playing for, but it would be in the TBL. I couldn’t find much on Wikipedia or other sites about signings.

Is Memo still in Turkey? Maybe that’s why he has to be there by Wednesday. And if Okur is pimping Dimes, what will Dee pitch?

Glad to hear that he’s got somewhere to play. I really think he could have done well in Milwaukee if they hadn’t resigned Bell. He could certainly even end up back in the NBA this year if he plays well enough. There’s always some body that needs a guard due to injury or poor play. If he tears it up there, it will be hard for NBA teams not to notice. I hope he keeps up his blog.

Kris, that Turkey looks delicious. Is that your own photo? Honestly, I may very well be making a guest appearance at your mom’s house on a certain Thursday in November. Those yams look amazing too.

So now you’re making me look up obscure words? Maybe I should have known paean. I thought maybe it had something to do with potatoes.

Anyway, not my mom’s turkey (although you’re more than invited to attend Turkey day with us in Bear Lake). But I’ve never seen that much stuffing flowing out of a cooked bird; or a live one either for that matter.

Were you thinking of paella? Also delicious.
