Well, I was going to try to get a simpsonized version of Almond put up, but this photo taken from the NBA Rookie Photoshoot is just, I don’t know.  What was he trying to pull off with that look?  Just a nice smile would have done.  You’re not pulling off the angry scowl.  Leave a caption in the comments.

UPDATE:  Now this is better

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Getty images has the rest of the series and there are some good shots of Almond. I’m guessing the photographer was shouting commands like that scene in zoolander and Morris had had just about enough of it.

How about some of the poor white guys in that photo shoot? They look absolutely horrible. And I’m sure the Nets PR guy was thrilled with the menacing pose the coaxed out of Sean Williams, ha ha.

I’m referring, of course, to this photo of Spencer Hawes:

Too bad Fess wasn’t signed yet so that he could have been there. Those would have been high comedy I’m sure.

[…] Morris Almond is the FreeDarko Embedded Rookie - (Thanks to PCA for the tip) He gives some insight to his photo shoot with the rest of the rookies.  I guess it explains this pose. […]
