Contract offers and Draft Follow-up
News from today… The Jazz have offered contracts to Dee Brown & CJ Miles. They’ll both test the market. I suspect that Brown might leave to get more PT. But I think CJ will end up staying. That will still leave quite the logjam at SG.

Not a chance Dee Leaves, even if Fisher was still here. He a Deron are too damn close. I hope the Jazz let him be the 2nd point guard this year. Bring in a capable 3rd Point in free agency but nto a guy that overtakes Dee.

I think he would value more PT though. If he had a chance to be the guaranteed backup and maybe a chance to play for the starting job, he’d go. But this was posted before the Fisher news. I don’t think he leaves now either. It’s best he stays for both him and the Jazz. The Jazz will likely bring in a Sloan-type veteran PG and let him and Brown duke it out for the backup spot. I would like Dee to win that job.
