From the Deseret News:

Multiple reports say retired Jazz star Karl Malone may become an assistant coach at his former school, Louisiana Tech, which is expected to soon hire longtime Utah high school coach and former University of Utah assistant Kerry Rupp as its head coach.
      According to FOXSports.com, “the 43-year-old Malone … is seriously considering joining Rupp’s coaching staff.”

I always wondered why Karl didn’t move to a coaching-type position with the Jazz when he retired.  This would be the next best thing for him.  My biggest question is what would Malone wear on the sidelines?  Cowboy boots?  His hat?  He has a CDL, you could spell the bus driver on long trips.  Good move all around.
